Editorial accountability

Corrections

BMLabs welcomes specific, evidence-based correction reports. Material corrections are recorded on the affected article or archive record rather than silently rewritten.

1. Identify the problem

Include the page URL, exact section or archive record, disputed statement and reason it may be inaccurate or misleading.

2. Send evidence

Use the prepared email and include authoritative sources where available.

Prepare correction email

3. Record the outcome

A material correction receives a date, type, description and affected section. A review without change updates only the review record.

What to include

  • Canonical page URL
  • Quoted statement, metadata field or document record
  • Authoritative supporting source
  • Why the issue is material
  • Your name, if you want acknowledgement
  • Whether the problem affects a decision or current rule

Correction requests are evaluated editorially. Submitting a request does not guarantee a change, but the evidence will be reviewed against the page scope, source and archive context.
